Our story

United in life, united in business – a family legacy of beauty



Zenon I. Soszyński was a visionary who confronted the challenges of history. He passed on his business passion and love for cosmetics to his son Wojciech and his wife Dorota.



In Sopot, a pharmaceutical-cosmetic laboratory called OCEANIC is establish. The birth of the AA brand initiated a new approach to caring for sensitive skin.



Thanks to OCEANIC, Polish women had the opportunity to reach for modern and aesthetically designed cosmetics. The absolute bestseller of the 1980s is born – the AA cream in an orange jar.

1990 – 2000

A decade of fierce competition against global industry players. Supported by our brand’s strength and customer trust, OCEANIC stays firm and keeps expanding. In 1990, we launched Poland’s first intimate hygiene gel, which became an immediate success.



A milestone was reached with a significant investment in the modernization of our manufacturing plant in Pomerania. OCEANIC becomes the first Polish beauty products company to obtain pharmaceutical GMP certification, setting a new benchmark in production standards.


The introduction of Oillan, our emollient-based brand, heralded a substantial breakthrough in the realm of atopic skincare.


Our business gained momentum as we set up a state-of-the-art Logistics and Distribution Center and implemented a SAP management system.


The OCEANIC portfolio expanded to include another brand, Long4Lashes. Its flagship product, Lash Booster Serum, soon became a bestseller in the eyelash conditioner category.


OCEANIC revolutionized makeup with the launch of AA Wings of Colour—a highly successful makeup brand designed specifically for sensitive skin.


With the acquisition of L’Biotica, our range now includes products inspired by the latest dermatology and cosmetology innovations, along with another well-established hair care brand: Biovax.


OCEANIC celebrated 40 years in business. The anniversary was marked by the #IAmSensitiveAA campaign, designed to refresh the brand’s image.
